1. Any four passenger, sedan type car, foreign or domestic. Mini trucks, NO

4 x 4’s.  

2. Originally equipped four cylinder engines, for cars and trucks.   NO

STROKERS.  

3. Heads will be stock with stock lifters. After market cam gears optional.

Any cam pulley except for after market. NO porting, polishing

or grinding of intake or exhaust chambers.  Boring, head shaving, dock

shaving allowed.  No custom parts, pistons, rods, cranks, etc… Ford to

Ford, GM to GM. Headers are optional.  

4. Stock carburetor, any intake except after market.

A. Carburetor adapters, 2 inch maximum

B. Carburetor (aspiration source) not exceed, 500 CFM maximum.

C. Air Cleaner mandatory.

D. No blowers, turbos or nitrous.

E. Fuel injection and side draft optional. Holly & Weber OK.  

5. Any stock transmission, three, four or five speed automatics.  Clutch plate

and flywheel assembly will be stock, GM to GM, Ford to Ford. Must

have scatter shield.  

6. Any ignition system.  

7. Any rear end in any car.

A. Must be located in stock position.

B. Must use stock mounts.

C. No quick change, Detroit lockers or floaters, locked rear ends opt.

8. Pump gas only. No exotic fuels, fuel cell mandatory with metal outer

casing and foam inside the bladder. Tank must be secured by two or more

steel straps 1 x 1/8.   9. Caster and chamber must be within 2 inches of

neutral. Torching or cutting of springs. Use of lowering blocks opt. Stock

suspension, coil to coil, leaf to leaf, torsion bar to torsion bar. All cars

shall have accessible low hooks front and rear. No weight jack and no

an oil pressure safety switch. 

9. lb to cc weigh rule.  

10. Batteries must be installed in engine compartment or driver

compartment, must be battery box or metal and bolted down.          

11. Radiator must be in stock location. You may install a radiator protector.

It may be 4 foot in total length and be 1 1/4 inch OD standard pipe or

tubing. Braces to be attached to frame forward of upper A-frame and not

forward of bumper.  

12. Racing seats mandatory. Must be welded or bolted securely. All cars

must have a headrest. Must have a maximum clearance of 3 inches

between driver with helmet and roll cage top. Padding required around

driver.  

13. All open drivelines will have a metal strap 1 inch wide or 12 inch chain

loop, not to exceed 3 inches below the driveline.  

14. Bumpers must be stock-type. Front and rear in stock location, 2 inch

metal strap to be bolted to body.  

15. Any D O T approved tire except mud lugs.

A. Hand grooving allowed.

B. No cords showing.

C. Steel or aluminum wheels, 10 inch maximum width.

D. Mud flaps required on all four corners of all front wheel drives,

both back corners of all rear wheel drives.  

16. Seat belts must be a five point harness of aircraft type with shoulder

harnesses and have one quick release. Minimum width of seat belt is 3

inches, or approved by tech comm.  

17. All cars must carry a minimum 2 1/4 lbs. chemical fire extinguisher

within easy reach of the driver while strapped in. MUST BE ABC TYPE.

18. Battery, kill switch that shuts car off, accessible by driver and outside.

Marked with fluorescent color to cue safety personnel.  

19. No mirrors or reflective devices.  

20. Hydraulic to hydraulic, solid to solid tappet.  

21. Nerf bars optional.
